This is a 4ft flame proof strip light manufactured by Crouse Hinds / Pauluhn, Texas, USA. These rare examples were made in the 1970s for use in hazardous areas on super tankers and cargo ships travelling cargo around the globe.

 Would offer a great vintage look for over a large office table, snooker or pool table, dining table or kitchen islands.
